** NEW COLOUR WAY LAUNCH**

Gluggle jugs, or glug glug jugs as some call them, are one of my bestsellers and usually the one item people want to talk to me about when they find out about the store.  For some these jugs conjure up memories from childhood and are always greeted with exclamations of joy and usually come with a lovely story.

"We just love our Gluggle jug. Everyone wants to pour the water to hear's it's gluggle." Lucie M

Gluggle Jugs are a national institution! If you’ve never had the simple pleasure of hearing one poured then, my friend, you are in for an absolute treat. In the shape of a fish, they make a funny glugging noise when the water pours and whether you are five, or eight-five, it always brings a smile to everyone’s face! My littles absolutely adore the noise our jug makes, and demand it every dinnertime!

"The quality is beautiful and it makes such a lovely sound when you pour a glass of water!" Nicola. P

The first jugs date back to Staffordshire in the 1870s, though their popularity was boosted in the 1950s when the Queen & Prince Philip were gifted a pair.

These days they come in a gorgeous array of colours and sizes to suit a cottage or modern home, and are the perfect gift for yourself or someone else. We use ours as a water jug but they can also be used for wine, as a utensil jar, a vase or simply an eye-catching ornament.

"So delighted with my new jug! Beautifully made and it looks fantastic on my side table." Kate. J

When I saw this new Sea Blue colour I knew I had to sell it.  I’m always drawn to a nautical blue.  Makes me think of long garden lunches with the gentle tang of the sea just drifting in the air . . . . I often dream about owning a  coastal cottage in Norfolk and when I do, this will sit on my kitchen table.
